CHARLIE CHAPLIN'S "THE CIRCUS" (1928) SECRETS

The storyline during the movie shows this. Chaplin’s tramp falls in adore with Merna, who returns his passion. Then, a tightrope walker named Rex (performed by Henry Bergman) comes on to the scene and Merna right away falls in adore with him. Why? For the reason that his act is daring and risky whilst Chaplin’s clown act has a lot less Status.
